Jenny Alexander, owner and lead therapist of Kind Body Wellness, has been certified in Clinical Manual Lymphatic Drainage through Klose Training since 2023. She has continued her education with advanced coursework and hands-on training in:

Why Specialized Training Matters

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a highly specialized treatment that is not included in standard massage therapy education. Safe post-operative care requires an understanding of surgical procedures, tissue healing timelines, lymphatic anatomy, contraindications, and appropriate treatment techniques for compromised lymphatic systems.

Patients recovering from cosmetic surgery, reconstructive procedures, cancer treatment, or lymphatic disorders require a level of clinical knowledge that extends well beyond traditional massage therapy training.

Our therapists understand the stages of wound healing, recognize signs that warrant medical referral, and communicate with physicians when concerns arise. Our priority is always patient safety and providing care that supports—not replaces—your medical treatment plan.

Our Clinical Focus

We work within the post-operative timeline recommended by the surgical team and adjust treatment based on the stage of healing and client needs. Our therapists are trained to recognize signs that may require medical follow-up, including unusual swelling patterns, skin changes, fluid collections, or other post-surgical concerns. We do NOT take insurance but we do take HSA/FSA cards.

Our role is to support your treatment plan, improve patient comfort, and help facilitate a safe recovery process through specialized lymphatic care.
